Is Network Marketing a scheme?...Or the American Dream?

Network Marketing is a sixty-year old industry with a colorful history. It began somewhere around the early 1930's or 1940's with a California vitamin company. As the story goes,“California Vitamins” discovered they could make more sales when they had a lot of sales representatives selling a small amount of product each, compared to the traditional business model, of trying to have a few sales representatives selling a lot. In 1959 Richard DeVos and Jay Van Andel founded the company Amway which was an abbreviation for the term “the American way”. Amway from day one was based on the same network marketing concept. Almost 50 years later Amway is a well established network marketing company operating in more than 80 countries around the world and with more than 3 million business operators.

This could be called to the humbling beginning of the Network Marketing Industry,which now has over 3,000 companies,50 million representatives,and sales in excess-of $ 100 billion worldwide,plus 91% growth in the last 11 years.

These are facts about Network Marketing and the Network Marketing Industry is growing each day some say that this type of business model will take over in the years to come. I leave you with a quote from one of my favorite books of all time " " If I offer you a job driving a garbage truck would you take it? The answer is always no,but if I offer you a job that pays a million dollars a year would you take take? & the answer is always yes. But when asked what is that job the answer is driving a garbage truck! Network Marketing is BIG Business just like Refuse Removal however only a certain few would do them.
